Terms of Service

General

Universal Interiors' team of online interior designers are experts and absolute professionals, and as that, we take a lot of pride in our design team.

To become a client, you must provide your full name, your zip code, phone number, and email address. Also, provide us photos of your space, and provide us additional information about your room and project by email.

We offer up to 2 revisions for each of our services. This requires the client to be very clear in advance about needs/wants/style. We offer a limited amount of redesigns to make sure you fall in love with your new space. Make sure to send in your feedback with design changes within 30 days of receiving your latest design concept. If we don't hear from you within 30 days, your designer will close your project. If you, however, want to request changes after 30 days, your request will undergo a review before we can commit.

We use Chief Architect for our drafting and rendering needs. Sometimes, we will need to substitute a particular item for one similar that is available in a digital 3D object. Actual items will always be shown on the mood boards.

In the event that you are not happy with the design concepts and our team determines that your design project qualifies for a refund, the claims team will get in touch with you to understand what went wrong and will have the final authority to approve the claim. Partial refunds will only be considered for those projects that have been delivered within 4 months of the project start date. After 4 months, no design refunds will be issued.

Drawings provided by Universal Interiors are conceptual in nature and are not intended for use in construction or permitting. 

You Must Have Rights to the Content You Post. You represent and warrant that:

  1. You own Your Content or otherwise have the right to grant the license set forth in the EULA.

  2. The posting and use of Your Content on or through the Service does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, intellectual property rights, or any other rights of any person, and

  3. The posting of Your Content on the Service does not result in a breach of contract between you and a third party You agree to pay for all royalties, fees, and any other monies owing any person by reason of Your Content that you post on or through the Service You also acknowledge and agree that Your Content is non-confidential and non-proprietary.

Eligibility

If you are using our Services for yourself or on behalf of a family member (each a "Subscribing Entity"), then you represent and warrant that you: (i) are an authorized representative of that Subscribing Entity with the authority to bind such entity to the EULA and (ii) agree to be bound by the EULA on behalf of such Subscribing Entity. You must be over the age of 18 to use the site and to use our service. No part of the Service is directed to persons under the age of 18. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not use or access the service at any time or in any manner.

Third-Party Materials

Computer monitors vary, and we cannot guarantee that colors will look the same.

Disclaimer

The client is responsible for getting accurate dimensions of the space in which we will be working. We cannot guarantee items will fit if the dimensions given are not accurate.
This service is strictly remote.

Inactivity Terms

In the scenario where you paid for a design package and completely lost track of it because there were other pressing matters to tend to, don’t worry; you can choose to come back and kickstart your project when you have the time at hand within three months of your start date. If your project has passed the three-month mark, reach out to us at nancy@universalinteriorsllc.com so we can process your refund.

Payment Terms and Method

A 50% downpayment is required to get the project started. The remainder of 50% is due before final deliverables. We accept credit/debit cards and ACH payments.

Hawaii state tax will be added to all packages.
